Episode: 6
Kaestra pulls back from Soren's kiss and notices wings on his back. Soren tells her he is actually a dragon whose curse was broken when she bonded with him. Narration states that dragons ruled all beasts before disappearing two hundred years ago. Kaestra fears facing the Crown Trial alone. She asks Soren if he still wants her. Soren promises his body, soul, and magic to her.
Kaestra pulls away from the kiss in the pool and sees Soren's wings. Soren explains that he was never a lizard. He is a dragon, and her willing bond broke the curse placed upon him.
A flashback looks into the sky as narration describes the history of dragons. They were once the kings of all beasts across the land. Two hundred years ago, every single dragon vanished without a trace.
Kaestra stands in the castle courtyard and arena during her thoughts. She reflects on the upcoming Crown Trial. If Soren decides to break their bond now, she knows she will have no chance in the match.
Back at the pool, Kaestra asks Soren if he will still stay by her side. Soren pledges his body, soul, and power to her. Magical light flows between the two as they seal their bond.
“A dragon. Master, I was never a lizard. I was cursed. Only a pure-blood mage who willingly bonds with me can break my curse.”
“Then... do you still want to be my familiar?”
“Of course, Kaestra. I'm yours. My body, my soul, my power, they all belong to you.”
Soren promises that his body, soul, and magic belong entirely to Kaestra. Magical light streams between them in the pool, confirming their connection remains intact. Kaestra now knows her companion is a dragon rather than a lizard. Will Soren's full power be enough to help Kaestra win the Crown Trial against Gail and Alistair?
