Episode: 4
Emily Carter arrives at Yuncheng Hospital alongside Leo, meeting Dr. Bennett in the corridor. Dr. Bennett hands the boy money to grab a snack from the shop. As Leo eats his chips down the hallway, he spots a nurse beating Alexander's Grandfather with a cleaning pole. Leo rushes inside to defend the old man. The nurse turns her pole on Leo, but the elderly patient gathers the boy into his arms to shield him.
Emily and Leo walk into the hospital corridor to meet Dr. Bennett. Leo asks for some chips, so Dr. Bennett hands him snack money. Emily stays behind with Dr. Bennett while Leo heads to the shop on his own.
Inside a hospital room, a nurse yells insults at Alexander's Grandfather on the floor. She grabs a heavy cleaning pole and strikes the helpless elderly man with it while he cowers on the ground alone.
Leo passes the doorway with his chips and watches the nurse strike the patient. He charges straight into the room to protect the old man. The patient pulls Leo into a tight hug when the nurse swings.
“Saving patients is a doctor's duty.”
“Bad lady, don't hit grandpa!”
“Alexander, don't be scared.”
The nurse hovers over the bed, holding up her cleaning pole to strike again. Alexander's Grandfather stays crouched on the floor, clinging tightly to Leo and whispering Alexander's name to comfort the boy. Will someone step into the room before the pole lands, or will Leo take a vicious hit meant for the old man?
