Elodie Hale packs her suitcase in the bedroom despite Cole begging her to stay. She walks out of the estate and reassures her unborn child that everything will be fine. Cole calls Dominic Thorne right away to report her departure. As Elodie walks down a street, three men corner her and begin harassing her. A car stops in front of them with bright headlights, and an unknown man steps out to intervene.
Elodie zips her bags in the bedroom to leave Dominic's home. Cole stands near the door and pleads with her to stay so Dominic does not punish him. Elodie refuses to remain in the house and insists on leaving immediately.
Cole rushes into the living room with his phone in hand after Elodie leaves. He dials Dominic Thorne's number directly. He tells his boss that Elodie walked out and that he failed to stop her from running away.
Elodie carries her suitcase down the mansion steps into the cool night air. She places her hand against her stomach and speaks comforting words to her unborn baby, promising the child that the two of them will make it on their own.
Three strange men spot Elodie walking alone on the sidewalk and block her path. They make crude comments about her body and corner her. Elodie begs the men to leave her alone, but they ignore her pleas and close in.
An approaching vehicle suddenly screeches to a halt beside the sidewalk. Its headlights illuminate Elodie and the three men in the dark street. A man opens the car door and steps out to confront the group.
“No, no, Miss Hale, you can't go. The boss will kill me.”
“Please, Cole. I'll go crazy if I stay here any longer, okay? I have to get out of here today.”
“Don't worry, baby. We'll get through this.”
“Look at the body, huh?”
The episode closes on the street as bright vehicle headlights blind the three thugs confronting Elodie. A man emerges from the vehicle to step between Elodie and her attackers. Will this rescuer manage to drive off the harassers safely, and is the man behind the wheel Dominic Thorne himself?
