Thomas directs Victoria Hale to a guest room and asks her to stay quiet for Elliot. Victoria demands luxury service before marching into Elliot's room. As Elliot sits in his wheelchair peeling fruit, Miles Carter draws a line with a knife to keep her away. Victoria tries calling staff to remove Miles, so Miles blocks her with a heavy marble table. When she complains, Elliot announces that Miles stays. Victoria storms out in anger.

  1. 00:00: Butler Relocates Victoria

    Thomas informs Victoria Hale that staff relocated her to a guest room so Elliot can rest. Victoria rejects the arrangement. She insists the room match her standards and reminds Thomas that she is the heir's fiancée, not an ordinary guest.

  2. 00:24: Miles Establishes a Perimeter

    Victoria confronts Elliot while he peels an apple in his wheelchair. Miles steps in immediately. He uses his knife to mark a safety boundary on the floor. When Victoria hurls insults and advances, Miles casually flips the blade to keep her back.

  3. 01:03: Blocking Victoria With Marble

    Victoria calls for maids to throw out the bodyguard, labeling him a cleaner. Miles corrects her job title. He then shoves a heavy marble table directly in front of her. Victoria demands tea service, but Miles pays no attention to her orders.

  4. 01:44: Elliot Defends His Bodyguard

    Victoria turns to Elliot and protests Miles's aggressive actions. She demands to know why the bodyguard is permitted inside. Elliot answers calmly and confirms that keeping Miles was his personal choice. Infuriated, Victoria insults both men and exits the bedroom.

    Miles slides the heavy table back into place and offers Elliot the apple. Elliot states that the bodyguard meddles in everything. Miles tells him that meddling comes with the assignment. Elliot remains quiet while Miles eats the fruit.
