Liam Sterling mentions Chloe Davis has a familiar scent. He forces her onto the couch and kisses her deeply, bringing back memories of the night they spent together. Out in the corridor, Ms. Carter knocks, finds the door locked during daytime, and suspects a burglar. She phones Kevin to bring the office key. While Chloe worries about being discovered, Kevin delivers the key, and Ms. Carter opens the door.
Liam Sterling tells Chloe Davis that her scent is familiar to him. He presses her down onto the couch and kisses her. That close embrace triggers a flashback of the passionate night they shared in the hotel five years earlier.
Ms. Carter approaches Liam's office and knocks on the entryway. She tries the handle, but it will not open in broad daylight. Annoyed by the locked room, she suspects an unauthorized thief has slipped into the space.
Ms. Carter stands in the hallway and phones Liam's assistant, Kevin. She demands that he bring the office key immediately. She grows visibly frustrated, worried that an unexpected intruder might disrupt what she has planned for Liam.
Trapped under Liam, Chloe panics at the thought of someone catching them together on the sofa. Meanwhile, Kevin rushes over with the spare key and hands it to Ms. Carter. Ms. Carter puts the key in the lock and opens the door.
“Why is your scent so familiar?”
“Mr. Sterling, you misunderstand. I-I, you've got the wrong person.”
“Kevin? Bring me the key to Liam's office. I think there's a thief in his office.”
Ms. Carter turns the key in the lock and swings the office door open, stepping right into the executive suite. Liam is still on top of Chloe on the couch, unaware that anyone is entering. Will Ms. Carter catch Liam and Chloe together, and what will she do if she discovers Chloe inside?
