Liam berates his maids after Leo disappears from the mansion. He receives a call with Leo's location and rushes out, while Ms. Carter orders the staff to search. At her place, Chloe Davis serves Leo dinner. Leo eats happily and confesses the woman at his home is not his mother. After Leo falls asleep missing his mother, Chloe thinks of her own lost baby. Liam knocks, enters, and recognizes Chloe.
Liam berates the household maids for failing to supervise Leo properly. A sudden phone call reveals where his son went, prompting Liam to rush out. Ms. Carter stays behind in her white lace dress and angrily commands the staff to keep looking.
Chloe Davis serves Leo a hot dinner at her table. Leo eats and praises the food, saying it tastes like his mommy cooked it. He then tells Chloe that the woman living in his house is bad and not his real mother.
Leo drifts off to sleep on the sofa while whispering that he misses his mother. Chloe watches the sleeping boy with maternal warmth and thinks about the child she lost years ago. Suddenly, a sharp knock echoes at her front door.
Chloe opens the door and lets Liam inside her home. Liam observes Leo resting calmly on the couch and comments on the boy's unusual trust. He turns his attention to Chloe and suddenly realizes she is the woman from his past.
“You're all useless! Can't even watch a kid? What good are you?”
“She's not Mommy. She's a bad woman.”
“Leo's always been wary of strangers. This is the first time he's ever slept so soundly near a stranger.”
“It's you.”
Liam steps into the apartment to collect Leo and turns to look at Chloe Davis. The two stare at each other in utter shock as recognition hits them both at the same time. Will Liam ask Chloe where she has been, or will their sudden reunion cause even more complications for Leo?
