Both Chloe Davis and Ms. Carter learn Chloe is three months pregnant with Liam Sterling's baby. Because Liam has avoided Ms. Carter, she schemes to take the infant. Months later, Chloe gives birth, but a doctor immediately carries the newborn out to guards. Ms. Carter rests in a VIP bed with the child, and Liam cradles him happily. Chloe wakes up in distress, only for the doctor to lie and say the baby died.
Chloe finds out she is three months pregnant with Liam's baby. In her office, Ms. Carter discovers the pregnancy as well. Since Liam has not touched her since their initial encounter, Ms. Carter decides to use this child to secure her standing.
Chloe goes through labor and gives birth to her infant in the delivery room. As soon as the baby arrives, the attending doctor takes the child away. The doctor walks straight into the hallway and passes the newborn to awaiting guards.
Ms. Carter lies in a hospital bed inside a VIP room and holds the newborn infant. Liam enters the room with a gentle greeting. He happily takes the baby and cradles him in his arms, believing Ms. Carter is the birth mother.
Chloe regains consciousness in her room and frantically asks where her child is. The corrupt doctor coldly informs her that the newborn was stillborn. The doctor adds that the body was thrown into the trash, leaving Chloe sobbing into her pillow.
“This child of Chloe's came just in time.”
“Hi.”
“Your baby was stillborn.”
“Baby... Mommy is useless.”
Chloe breaks down in her hospital bed, weeping into her pillow after being told her newborn died. She believes she failed to protect her child, unaware that Ms. Carter took the infant to fool Liam. Will Chloe ever uncover the truth about her stolen baby, or will Ms. Carter raise the boy as her own?
