Episode: 3
Luna and Rowan head to the shipyard at night to meet an assistant holding account records. Gunshots ring out before the man can hand them over, dropping him to the ground. Rowan pulls Luna behind steel beams as Japanese attackers demand the files. Rowan takes a bullet graze to his arm, while Jace provides covering fire. Luna drags the bleeding assistant behind cover, but an attacker snatches the folder and the assistant dies.
Luna follows Rowan into the shipyard at nine at night to meet a suited assistant holding a folder. Just as the assistant prepares to open the paperwork, sudden gunshots strike him down in the middle of the floor.
Rowan drags Luna behind steel beams while Japanese shooters shout to seize the papers without killing Rowan. A bullet grazes Rowan's arm. Jace fires back from the warehouse entrance, shouting for Luna to get out of the line of fire.
Instead of running toward safety, Luna sprints into the open to drag the badly wounded assistant behind cover. She presses a handkerchief against his bleeding chest. During her rescue attempt, an armed man rushes in and steals the dropped folder.
The assistant stops breathing and dies behind the beams. Rowan kneels beside Luna and urges her to release the body. With Jace calling out and waving from the door, Luna stares at her blood-soaked hands and is forced to pull back.
“You have the records?”
“Luna. This way.”
“Look at me. Stay with me.”
“Luna, he's gone.”
The assistant dies on the cold shipyard floor, and the attackers vanish into the night with the stolen records. Rowan and a blood-stained Luna follow Jace's calls and retreat through the exit. With their only witness dead and the financial files gone, how will Rowan and Luna track down who arranged this deadly ambush?
