Episode: 3
Aurora hears Ren's stomach growling and gives her hungry sons two bottles of nutrient solution. She acts harsh to hide her change of heart, then heads out to find work. Synd suspects her motives and secretly follows her with Ren. At the market, a vendor throws a tomato in Aurora's face. Sybelle stops the boys, accuses Synd of theft, and slaps him. Aurora runs over to confront Sybelle.
Synd hears his little brother Ren's stomach growl from hunger. Aurora pulls two bottles of premium nutrient solution from the cupboard. She puts on a harsh tone, orders the boys to drink every single drop, and leaves to earn money.
Ren believes their mother has become kind, but Synd remains suspicious of her sudden shift. Synd decides to follow her out the door to see what she plans to do. Ren quickly tags along behind his older brother.
Aurora attempts to buy tomatoes from a market stall. The furious vendor hurls a smashed tomato directly into her face and criticizes her past behavior. Aurora admits her previous faults and states that things will be different starting today.
Sybelle and her son Baron intercept the two young boys on the road. Sybelle demands to know how Synd got premium nutrient solution. She slaps Synd across the face, shattering the bottle into the mud, and grabs him.
Aurora runs toward the commotion and shouts at Sybelle to halt. She inserts herself directly between the hostile woman and her hurt child. Sybelle turns around to face Aurora on the crowded street as bystanders watch the dispute.
“This nutrient solution is garbage. I won't drink it. You two drink it all, not one drop left!”
“Your eldest boy's suffering in the Beast Arena, and you're out shopping?!”
“I did a lot of wrong before. But not anymore. Not from today.”
“Where'd a little cub like you get money for premium nutrient solution?!”
“STOP!”
Aurora charges into the street confrontation, screaming at Sybelle to back off from Synd. Sybelle turns to meet her with Synd trapped in her grip beside the shattered bottle. Will Aurora be able to shield her injured cubs from Sybelle's anger and prove she did not steal the expensive food?
