Episode: 8
Kael orders the captive redhead locked up instead of executed. He approaches Aurora and explains that he spent five years rising to general for her. Terrified by a nightmare of a strangling python, Aurora rushes inside with Synd and Ren. The next day, Kael kneels outside her door with a diamond ring. Aurora flees inside again, so Kael plans to use medical treatment for Synd's scar to draw her out.
Jax advises Kael against an immediate public execution, so Kael orders guards to lock up the captive redhead woman. Kael then walks up to Aurora. He tells her he spent five years rising from a nobody to general to fulfill her wish.
Aurora remembers her nightmare of a giant purple-eyed python strangling her. She panics, grabs Synd and Ren, and runs into her apartment. She slams the door behind them. Outside in the hallway, Kael feels a sharp pain in their bond mark.
Aurora wakes up in bed drenched in cold sweat after the nightmare returns. Synd and Ren ask her about their father. Aurora speaks strictly to both boys, warning them to be careful and stay away from Kael.
Kael arrives in the Lower Ring carrying a diamond ring. Aurora steps outside to throw away trash. Kael drops to one knee before her, offering the ring to make up for the wedding he owed her five years ago. Neighbors watch in shock.
Aurora sees the nightmare python in Kael, panics, and retreats inside, slamming the door shut. Kael closes the ring box and departs with Jax. He decides to offer military medics for Synd's scar to draw Aurora to his base.
“Aurora, five years ago I owed you a wedding. Today I make it right.”
“If you don't accept, I won't get up.”
“Aurora... you won't see me? Fine. Then I'll use the kids to bring you to me.”
Aurora locks herself inside her apartment after turning down Kael's marriage proposal. Refusing to give up, Kael resolves to use Synd's facial scar and his military medical team as leverage. Will Aurora accept his medical help for her son, or will her fear of the giant python keep her family locked away from him?
