Tess carries a thermos of fish soup to visit George in his hospital room. A doctor announces that George had a successful surgery. Tess opens the soup container, but the smell causes her to gag immediately. George notices her nausea and the mark on her neck, asking if she is pregnant. Later, Tess reads an acceptance notice on her phone for nursing school. Rain pours down, and Knox pulls up in a black sedan.
Tess brings a thermos to George's hospital room. The doctor confirms the operation succeeded. Tess uncovers her homemade fish soup and gags from nausea. George spots a mark on her neck, questions her about being pregnant, and tells her to quit the nightclub.
Tess stands near the bus stop and checks her phone. A message confirms her admission into the nursing program at West Coast University School of Medicine. She cheers aloud on the sidewalk and celebrates her upcoming fresh start as a future nurse.
Heavy rain suddenly begins to pour while Tess waits beside the street. A black luxury sedan pulls up right beside her. Knox rolls down the car window, looks straight at her through the rain, and coldly orders her to get inside.
“Tess, are you pregnant?”
“Tess Miller, you've been accepted into the Nursing Program at West Coast University School of Medicine.”
“Get in.”
Knox stops his luxury car directly in front of Tess during a sudden downpour and commands her to step inside. Tess stands drenched on the sidewalk holding her nursing admission news. Will she obey Knox's harsh demand to enter his vehicle, or will she walk away to protect her new life?
