Episode 3 recap: Leaving the Bag Behind

Lucian and Serena's mother corner Serena in the suite, accusing her of making everyone uncomfortable and blowing the situation out of proportion. Serena fires back, asking if they wanted her to beg Lucian or get exiled for another year. Her brother steps in to protect their mother, claiming Serena will humiliate the family in front of the guests downstairs. Seeing that her family will always choose public image and Stella over her, Serena checks out mentally. She leaves her handbag containing her keys on the table, lying to her brother that it only holds work papers.
