Serena reflects on how being the biological daughter was always used to make her sacrifice everything for Stella. She surprises the banquet manager by stating the ceremony will continue as planned, but Stella will be the bride instead. Her brother explodes with anger, demanding to know why she is not satisfied after he already canceled the event. Lucian steps up and grabs Serena's wrist tightly, insisting that they need to talk privately. Serena orders him to let go, just as a tearful Stella rushes forward and grabs onto Lucian's sleeve.
