Episode 4 recap: Canceling the Ceremony

The banquet manager arrives at the suite to announce that the guests are seated and asks if the ceremony should start. Seeing Stella in the dress with the ring, Serena's brother cancels the ceremony, telling Serena to change and planning to lie that she feels sick. Stella cries and claims she will change out of the dress, but stays completely still. Their mother rushes to comfort Stella, then lectures Serena. She claims Stella lacks security and demands that Serena be understanding because she is the Sinclairs' biological daughter and cannot be replaced.
