Ethan gets dragged by a wild boar onto a riverbank until Chloe kills the beast with a spear. Ethan notices her animal ears and realizes he landed in a world of beast girls. Chloe brings him to her tribe's camp, where Mia celebrates the hunt. Chloe explains that their fire died, forcing them to trade their meat to wolfmen. Ethan stuns both girls by asking why they do not make fire themselves.
A wild boar drags Ethan upside down across the ground and hurls him onto a riverbank. The beast corners him in the mud. Chloe leaps out from the surrounding woods and drives her spear through the boar, saving his life.
Ethan spots Chloe's animal ears in shock. Chloe orders Ethan to follow her while other exiled beast girls haul the dead boar away. Ethan smiles to himself, thrilled to find he has been transported to a primitive world filled with beast girls.
Ethan walks into the tribal settlement and looks at the cute beast-eared girls living there. Mia runs up to Chloe with excitement. She loudly praises Chloe for taking down such an enormous wild boar to feed their small group.
Chloe says their fire went out days ago. She intends to trade the boar meat to the wolfman tribe for new embers before winter. Ethan asks why they cannot simply kindle a fire on their own, stunning both Chloe and Mia.
“Did I get isekai'd? A primitive world full of beast girls?”
“Our fire died three days ago. We gotta save most of the meat to trade for fire from the wolfman tribe. Otherwise the great winter will freeze us all to death.”
“Why trade? If the fire's out, just start a new one, what's the big deal?”
“You can make fire?”
Chloe and Mia stare at Ethan in complete bewilderment after he suggests building a new fire instead of begging the wolfmen for embers. Neither girl believes fire can simply be created from scratch. Can Ethan use his modern knowledge to kindle a blaze and save the tribe's food supply before winter strikes?
