Episode: 6
To save Sylva, Ethan directs the beast girls to gather clean straw, pelts, and water. A white-haired clan member assists him as he cools Sylva's brow with a damp cloth. Outside, he crushes tree bark with a mortar and boils it in bamboo. Mia questions the treatment, but Ethan feeds the brew to Sylva. Sylva regains consciousness and calls Mia. At the tent entrance, a rabbit-eared observer questions Ethan's identity.
Ethan commands the girls to bring fire, clean straw, furs, and fresh water. A white-haired clan member helps him while a brown-haired girl watches Sylva. Ethan places a damp cloth over Sylva's hot forehead to lower her temperature.
Ethan steps outside to light a fire. He grinds medicinal tree bark in a stone mortar and boils the mixture in a bamboo tube over the flames. Mia watches nervously and asks how tree bark can heal a burning fever.
Ethan returns inside and pours the warm bark medicine into Sylva's mouth while cooling her brow. Her fever breaks within moments. She opens her eyes and calls for Mia, bringing the watching tribe girls to tears of pure relief.
A rabbit-eared woman stands quietly at the tent entrance. She watches Ethan nurse Sylva back to health. She remembers he made fire without flint, and now he cured a fatal illness despite denying that he is a tribal Shaman.
“Really you can cure sylva how”
“This brings down the fever I'll boil it and make her drink it”
“The fever is breaking”
“He can make fire and now he can cure a fever He says he's not a Shaman but who the hell is he”
Sylva rests safely after her fever subsides, surrounded by relieved clan members. Meanwhile, a rabbit-eared woman watches Ethan from the tent entrance with sharp suspicion. Since he can produce fire and cure fatal sickness without being a Shaman, what will this suspicious watcher do next, and how will Ethan handle the growing curiosity about his true background?
