A black-eared warrior flees through the forest with Ethan on her shoulder while the giant Boar King chases them. Ethan spots the beast's weaknesses and proposes a wager. After dropping him, she agrees: Ethan will command the hunters if he kills the beast, but must remain in the tribe forever if he fails. That night at the campfire, the cat girls pray to the moon and the Boar King for Ethan to lose.
A black-eared warrior runs along the forest trail with Ethan carried over her shoulder. The enormous Boar King pursues them closely. While bouncing on her back, Ethan observes the monster's physical vulnerabilities and calls out to make a bet with her.
The warrior dumps Ethan onto the ground and asks about his proposition. Ethan offers to lead the hunt against the Boar King. She agrees to follow his orders if he wins, provided he stays in the tribe forever if he fails.
Back at camp, the catfolk gather beside the fire at night. A short-haired cat girl asks if Ethan will stay. Pippa and another cat girl pray to the moon and the Boar King, hoping Ethan loses the bet.
“If I help the girls hunt down that boar king, you follow my lead from now on.”
“If you lose you join our catfolk tribe and you stay here forever.”
“Great boar king, please defeat Ethan, miao!”
“None of these girls wishes me to win.”
The episode ends by the campfire as the cat girls earnestly pray to the Boar King and the moon for Ethan's defeat. They want him to fail so he will stay with their tribe forever. Will Ethan manage to outsmart the giant Boar King and lead the hunters to victory, or will he lose the bet and remain?
