Inside the house, the handsome tenant approaches a gagged man bound tightly on the floor. He apologizes to the captive and says he needs his identity longer. Then he engulfs the tied-up man completely in dark shadow magic.
“I'm Kara Vale. Witch. Rent collector. Mostly in that order.”
“You had a hot tenant and didn't tell me?”
“Sorry about this. I still need this identity a little longer.”
