Betty assures Frank that she will stay away from Charlie. Frank gives her a red dress and takes her to a family gathering where Jackson plans to unveil his mistress and illegitimate son. At the estate, Frank confronts Jackson, who demands respect for Maggie. Betty realizes Frank and Charlie are brothers. Feeling overwhelmed, Betty heads toward the doorway for air, only to see Maggie and Charlie walk inside.
Betty tells Frank that she will avoid Charlie completely. Frank gives Betty a red dress to wear for the evening. He orders her to accompany him to a gathering where his father intends to present his mistress and illegitimate child.
Frank and Betty enter the family estate to face Jackson. Jackson demands full respect for Maggie as his new partner. Hearing Maggie's name makes Betty understand that Frank and Charlie share the same father, meaning Charlie is coming to the gathering.
Betty feels dizzy from the sudden revelation and announces that she needs some air. She turns toward the exit to escape the tense room. Just as she approaches the doorway, Charlie and his mother Maggie step inside the front entrance.
“Wear this tonight. We're going to the old mansion. My father will announce his mistress and bastard son.”
“Show some respect! Maggie is your stepmother now!”
“It's really her. That means Charlie is Frank's brother... and he's going to be here too?”
Betty tries to flee the mansion to process the shocking truth, only to run straight into Maggie and Charlie at the door. Will Charlie expose his past romance with Betty in front of Frank and Jackson, or will Betty find a way to hide their connection before Frank discovers the truth?
