Diana gives Bruce a weak apology in the hallway and tells him to make dinner. Bruce refuses to act like a servant. Diana's parents, Charles and Linda, arrive and insult him. Thinking of his dying promise to John, Bruce agrees to cook. Charles and Linda then push Diana to ask Cedric for help against the Dragons. Later that night, Bruce finds Diana worrying on the balcony and tells her he already handled the negotiations.
Diana offers Bruce a weak apology and tells him to prepare dinner. Bruce refuses to be her servant. Charles and Linda scold Bruce for his disrespect. Diana notes she simply likes his meals. Remembering John's request, Bruce agrees to cook.
Charles and Linda compare Bruce to a trained dog, but Diana speaks up for him. Her parents bring up the looming Dragon conflict. They urge Diana to contact Cedric for aid and express regret that she did not marry him instead.
Night falls, and Diana steps onto the palace balcony, worried about the Dragons. Bruce approaches his wife in the dark. He tells Diana not to worry because he already arranged everything for the coming talks to proceed without any trouble.
“I'm your husband, not your servant. If you want food, have the servants prepare it from now on.”
“Cedric is from the Dragons, and he still has feelings for you. Why not ask him for help?”
“Don't worry. I've already made arrangements. Tomorrow's negotiation will go smoothly.”
Bruce stands beside Diana on the palace balcony at night and assures her that tomorrow's negotiations with the Dragons will go smoothly because of his own arrangements. Will Diana believe Bruce and trust his preparations, or will she listen to her parents and turn to Cedric for help instead?
