Diana scolds Bruce on the balcony, calling him a low-level mage before he walks away in silence. Alone, she wonders about contacting Cedric. Cedric arrives as a dragon, turns human, and hands her a glowing green orb with a love confession. She refuses his romantic approach due to being married, but requests his aid in stopping conflict. Later, Bruce delivers a warm brew. Diana snaps at him, but his simple answer stuns her.
Diana stands on the dark balcony and mocks Bruce for claiming he arranged things. She labels him a low-level mage and orders him to mind his own business. Bruce does not argue back and walks inside without a word.
Diana remains outside alone under the night sky. She wrestles with her options regarding the looming threat from the Dragon clan. In her distress, she debates whether she should reach out to Cedric for assistance.
Cedric lands on the balcony in dragon form and shifts into a man. He offers Diana a glowing green orb, confessing his twenty-year feelings. Diana refuses his romance because of her marriage, but asks him to stop the war. Cedric agrees and flies off.
Bruce returns to the balcony with Soothing Brew to help Diana sleep. Diana acknowledges his care, yet declares she only wed him because of her dying grandfather. Bruce calmly replies with a single word and walks away, catching her completely off guard.
“Since when did you start talking big? You're just a low-level mage. Stay out of things that don't concern you.”
“My father is one of the Dragon Elders. I'll go back and speak to him right now.”
“If it weren't for my grandfather's dying wish, I never would have married you.”
“Alright.”
Bruce gives Diana an unbothered reply and turns his back on her. As he walks away into the palace, an astonished Diana shouts after him to stop right there. Will Bruce continue to ignore his wife's demands, and will Cedric actually convince his father to call off the war against the Elves?
