  1. 00:00: Tracing the Name

    Julian Ashford pulls back his hand and asks which characters make up the name Pebble. Pebble steps forward, seizes his palm, and scribbles across his skin. She yells at Julian that her name means discarded, calling him a fool.

  2. 00:23: George Bennett Kneels in Confession

    George Bennett drops to his knees near the doorway to confess that Pebble is Aurelia Bennett's twin sister. Janet Bennett claims they chose a humble name for good health. A female guest nearby scoffs out loud at the family's excuse.

  3. 00:51: Aurelia Exposes the Marriage Bed

    Julian asks why the sister remained hidden. George claims Pebble brought ill fortune upon her mother at birth. Aurelia cuts him off furiously. She tells Julian that Pebble took her place in the bridal sedan and bedchamber without being mad at all.

Julian turns his gaze back toward Pebble, eyeing her with fresh skepticism after Aurelia's outburst. Will Julian see through Pebble's childish act, or can she convince him that she is completely out of her mind?
