Iver grips her leg and begs her to stay, but she loosens his grip and walks out. Back at her building, the landlady confronts her, threatening eviction without rent by tomorrow. Completely broke, Tamsin heads outside the next morning for work, where black luxury SUVs abruptly surround her.

00:00: Rescuing Iver from the Van
Tamsin battles two masked kidnappers in an alley during a brief flashback. She overpowers the attackers near a van, opens the vehicle, and pulls young Iver out to safety before running away from the scene with him.
00:07: Goodbyes at the Police Station
A police officer tells Tamsin that Iver's family has been notified, allowing her to exit. As she rises, Iver weeps and wraps both arms around her leg. Tamsin offers him soothing words, unclasps his fingers, and leaves the station.
00:30: The Landlady Demands Rent
Tamsin arrives at her hallway, where the landlady blocks her entrance. The woman orders her to deliver rent money by tomorrow or face eviction. In her narration, Tamsin admits that she already spent her final six dollars.
