Dark smoke billows directly out of the purple orb in the woods. Reville Merser steps forward from the haze as the King of the Night Elves. He thanks Solon for breaking his seal and promises him three wishes in return.

Decades pass, and elderly Solon lies sick in his royal bed. He comforts his weeping granddaughter, Princess Ara Meren, and tells her to rest. As soon as she leaves the room, Solon reaches under his blanket and retrieves the purple orb.

In a woodland flashback, young Solon Gareth speaks to Reville. He asks to rule a peaceful realm free from warfare. Reville agrees to the request and unleashes a surge of dark magical energy that surrounds Solon as he screams.
