Queen Ara Meren walks beside Duke Oren along the courtyard path. She admits she was too harsh to Reville earlier. Oren promises his troops will defend the realm, while privately deciding to rush their marriage to secure the throne.
Oren guides Queen Ara into the royal carriage and hands her a bunch of white blossoms. Ara leans in and smells the bouquet. A heavy drowsiness hits her immediately, and her body turns hot with fever.
Oren carries the unconscious Queen through the corridor, waving off a concerned palace maid. He lays Ara down onto her mattress. As she complains about burning heat, Oren smiles and claims the kingdom for his family line.
“Reville. I don't usually act like this. I think I was too harsh today.”
“Damn it, she really cares about him. I must marry into the royal family and get rid of this trouble as soon as possible.”
“Why... it's so hot...”
“The White Spire Kingdom will belong to the Oren Wright family from now on.”
Duke Oren sets the helpless Queen onto her bed sheets and stands right above her. He announces that the White Spire Kingdom now belongs entirely to his family. Will anyone notice what Oren did to Ara before he takes full advantage of her, or will Reville realize his wife is in danger?
