On the muddy battlefield, King Ruen and Zara watch the fighting. A black raven flies in with a flaming scroll signed by the Night King that orders an instant pullback. Zara warns Ruen about the ruler's deadly power and pulls their forces back. Back at court, Duke Oren drops to his knees before Queen Ara Meren, boasting that he won the battle alone. Reville Merser interrupts him to challenge his unbelievable claim before the court.
King Ruen stands beside Shadow Elf Clan Leader Zara overlooking the muddy ground. A dark raven arrives carrying a burning note signed by the Night King. Zara feels the terrifying magical aura and tells Ruen that ignoring the order will cost their lives.
Duke Oren hurries into the throne room of White Spire. He drops to his knees in front of Queen Ara Meren and says he forced the enemy to pull back. The Queen welcomes him with open arms and celebrates him.
Reville Merser cuts through the celebration in the throne room. He faces Duke Oren directly and asks how he could ever overcome the Shadow Clan warriors. Oren stays frozen as Reville speaks out against his supposed military triumph.
“This power... It's truly the Night King. It's him... The Elven King is returning at last.”
“They have retreated! We have returned victorious!”
“Really? Do you truly have the ability to defeat the Shadow Clan Warriors?”
Reville Merser confronts Duke Oren in front of Queen Ara Meren and questions his victory over the Shadow Clan. Oren is caught off guard, and the court listens in silence. Will Ara defend Oren and dismiss her husband again, or will Oren's lie finally be exposed to the entire kingdom?
