My Cursed Merman Prince

My Cursed Merman Prince Episode Guide

1. EP 1: The Broken Uniform

During a training drill in the royal chamber, Adrian's uniform jacket rips down his back. The other mermen laugh and mock his weight. Even his father, the King, berates him in front of everyone. The King gives him a strict ultimatum. Adrian has three days to pass his final assessment, or he will lose his status as the first royal heir for good. Devastated and alone in the room, Adrian cries over his failures. A faint glow begins to shine along his tail fin.

2. EP 2: The First Wish

Inside his private chamber, Adrian kneels before the glowing magical conch and summons the Conch Spirit. The spirit warns him that three wishes carry a heavy price. Adrian ignores the warning and demands to be transformed into a handsome prince so Cassian will love him. A golden light wraps around him. His body painfully reshapes into a slender, sculpted form. Adrian stares at his reflection with sheer joy. Outside in the hallway, his cousin Cyrus spots the magical light and vows to uncover his secret.

3. EP 3: A Misplaced Confession

Chaos breaks out in the academy courtyard when Adrian panics and knocks over a tray of pastries. Moments later, Cassian bluntly reveals that he is actually a man and the new guard instructor. Adrian thought he was confessing his feelings to a woman. The entire class bursts into cruel laughter. Mortified, Adrian stumbles into another tray and flees toward the kelp forest in tears. A red-haired classmate tries to ridicule Adrian to Cassian. Cassian tells the student to wait and swims after Adrian to finish speaking.

4. EP 4: The Seabed Shell

Heartbroken and terrified, Adrian swims blindly into a rocky seabed cavern. He crashes against sharp stones, scraping his skin and tearing his tail fin. Curled against a rock, he weeps over his clumsiness and his weight. He wonders if people would stop laughing if he were thin and handsome. His blood drips down onto the sand below. There, he spots a glowing conch shell watching him. When Adrian reaches out and touches the shell, a blinding blast of golden magical energy suddenly erupts around him.

5. EP 5: Awakening the Spirit

The magical Conch Spirit emerges from the shell, appearing as a cat with a serpent tail. It is furious at being awakened after three thousand years of sleep. Adrian apologizes and confesses his misery. He explains how everyone mocked him after his failed confession. Moved by Adrian's deep loneliness, the spirit softens its tone. It makes an extraordinary offer. Adrian can have three wishes for beauty, power, or love. The spirit promises to grant any desire, and Adrian faces a life-changing choice.

6. EP 6: The Price of Beauty

Desperate for acceptance, Adrian weeps inside the sea cave and demands to be handsome. He wants the cruel laughter to stop. The Conch Spirit warns him that magic creates only hollow, empty shells that must be filled by oneself. Adrian does not care. He insists that a hollow shell is still better than being a joke. He agrees to pay any price. The Conch Spirit accepts the deal and unleashes a spiral of golden energy. Glowing veins spread across Adrian's face as the transformation takes hold.

7. EP 7: The Crystal Shard

Inside the underwater cave, Adrian touches his new face in sheer disbelief. He remembers the burning agony of shedding his chubby body. When he checks his reflection in a crystal shard, he sees a gorgeous, slender merman. He tests out his swimming and feels lighter and faster than ever. He celebrates, confident that nobody will laugh at him now. The cat-headed creature starts to give a warning, but stops. It tells him to enjoy the moment and mutters a dark question about midnight.

8. EP 8: A Grand Return

A stunned silence falls as Adrian swims into the academy grand hall with a slender frame and a glittering silver tail. His classmates freeze in shock, barely recognizing the prince. When he introduces himself, the students cheer and crowd around him with admiration. Cyrus hides behind nearby coral, convinced that nobody could change this drastically overnight. Adrian tells the room that yesterday was the past. Soon after, Cassian enters the hall with glowing eyes. The students part ways, and Adrian steps forward to greet the instructor.

9. EP 9: Habits of the Heart

Adrian assumes Cassian is staring at his new looks, but the instructor notices something deeper. Cassian points out Adrian's habit of taking a breath before speaking and exclaiming in surprise. These small habits match the merman who confessed at the fountain yesterday. Cassian exposes Adrian's identity to the entire academy hall. The surrounding students gasp in astonishment, while Cyrus watches the spectacle with a cold smirk. Overwhelmed with shame, Adrian shoves his way through the crowd and flees into the open water.

10. EP 10: Meeting at the Fountain

Hiding in a coral reef, Adrian touches his face to ensure the transformation spell is still holding. Cassian follows him into the crevice. Adrian angrily accuses the instructor of publicly humiliating him. Cassian explains that correcting the gender confusion was never a rejection. He tells Adrian to meet him tomorrow afternoon at the fountain so he can finally give his answer. He tells Adrian not to run away this time. Cassian leaves, and Adrian nervously begs his magic to last until tomorrow.

11. EP 11: Unstable Magic

Pain flares through Adrian's stomach as he sits near the fountain ledge, his body shifting form against his will. Cassian swims over and joins him. They talk about how the fountain reflects rainbows at noon, but the mood turns tense. Adrian admits he was scanning the area to see if anyone was watching Cassian. Cassian notes that their dynamic feels strained and different. Adrian promises to find him tomorrow. Then, his body shifts again in another wave of physical agony before the water fades to dark.

12. EP 12: Dropping the Cloak

Buttons snap off Adrian's uniform as he cowers behind a palace pillar. Cassian steps in, wraps his dark cape around Adrian, and shields him from the whispering crowd. But Adrian refuses to hide behind an illusion any longer. He drops the cape onto the academy floor, revealing his true chubby body to everyone. He proudly tells the onlookers to look all they want. Adrian refuses Cassian's offer to escort him and swims off alone. In the shadows, Cyrus holds up a photo on his phone.
