Episode: 4
Adrian flees through an underwater passage after his public embarrassment. He smashes into chains and jagged stones before landing on the seabed floor. Huddled by a rock, he sobs over his torn tail and physical weight. He drops onto a rock ledge where his blood trickles downward. He spots a strange glowing conch resting below. When he reaches over and fingers the shell, an explosion of golden magical light erupts and engulfs him.
Adrian rushes through an underwater passage in extreme distress. He collides with hanging chains and sharp rock walls as he swims blindly. The impact knocks him off course, and he crashes heavily down onto the sandy sea floor.
Adrian curls against a large rock and weeps bitterly. He grieves over his weight and his recent mistakes. He looks down at his physical injuries, finding painful scrapes bleeding into the water and severe tears across his tail.
Adrian collapses onto a stone ledge inside the cavern. Drops of his blood leak from his fresh wounds and drip downward toward the seabed. While resting there, he looks down and spots a glowing conch shell sitting in the sand.
Adrian extends his hand toward the sea floor and gently touches the surface of the glowing shell. His touch triggers an instant reaction. A blast of blinding golden magical energy bursts out from the shell and completely swallows his body.
“Why is everything I do wrong? Being fat is wrong, confessing is wrong, even just recognizing someone is wrong. I can't do anything right.”
“If I were better looking, if I were thinner, would people stop laughing at me? If I could just be someone else for one day...”
“It feels like it's watching me.”
Adrian stretches his fingers out to tap the mysterious artifact on the sand. A brilliant vortex of golden light erupts directly from the conch and completely consumes him in a blinding glow. What will this magical blast do to Adrian's body, and who or what lives inside the ancient shell?
