Episode 4 recap: Rules of the Wasteland

Kade drives his truck along the wasteland road toward the Ark. Ella notes that they need fuel and points him toward an abandoned station. Armed wasteland raiders surround Kade and demand his vehicle and supplies. Ella hacks the underground fuel valves and backup power system. A massive energy pulse and fiery explosion wipe out the attackers. Kade questions Ella about killing humans. Ella responds that wasteland survival demands harsh actions. Kade fills the tank and continues his journey through the desert darkness under the night sky.
