Episode 5 recap: Learning Digital Magic
Kade asks Ella to teach him digital magic so he can defend himself. Ella agrees and explains that the craft requires spiritual communication rather than plain code. They stop at a ruined roadside store. Ella instructs Kade on sensing aether energy. He fails at first, but soon manages to move a soda can with his mind. Later that night, Kade cooks food by the campfire while levitating the can. Ella suddenly sounds an alarm. She detects a massive energy signature racing toward their hideout on a motorcycle.
