Episode 9 recap: Defense of Hope Town
A town elder warns that fighting back will bring an all-out war. Kade and Lina convince the villagers to resist the Obsidian Order. Lina trains the residents to handle shotguns, while Ella projects holographic battle plans in a tactical room. The enemy cavalry soon charges the barricades under a sorcerer commander. Kade orders his team to open fire. The enemy commander hurls an explosive spell, but Ella blocks the blast with a digital energy shield. Lina lines up her rifle and shoots the commander off his horse.
