Episode: 12
Dawson jolts awake from a nightmare where a bloodied Cassia sinks into deep ocean water. Out in the corridor, he checks with his butler to see if Cassia came back. The butler says no, prompting Dawson to demand a search party. Mrs. Morris steps in to state the divorce is finalized. Dawson dials Cassia directly, but an unknown person answers and says Cassia died earlier that morning.
Dawson gasps for air in his bed after waking from a nightmare. In his dream, he tries to reach for Cassia as she sinks into deep water covered in blood, but he fails to pull her back to safety.
Dawson moves into the hallway with his cane and questions his butler. The butler admits Cassia has not come home yet. Dawson immediately gives an order to track her down and bring her back to the estate.
Mrs. Morris intercepts Dawson in the corridor before the butler can act. She informs her son that she processed the divorce herself. She insists Cassia never had feelings for him and wanted to leave his life behind.
Dawson refuses to drop the matter and dials Cassia's mobile phone directly. A stranger picks up the line. The person states that Ms. Jones denied having a husband and passed away earlier that same morning.
“Don't bother. I've already had the divorce processed. She's gone.”
“I'm Cassia's husband.”
“Ms. Jones passed away early this morning.”
Dawson freezes in complete disbelief as the voice confirms Cassia's death. The devastating words mirror the dread from his drowning nightmare, and his walking cane slips from his fingers, clattering onto the floor. How will Dawson cope with the reality of Cassia's sudden passing, and what will he do now that she is truly gone?
