While walking down the corridor, Cassia finds Zack making out with Elsie. Both of them ridicule her body and clothes. Cassia moves to the living room, where Mrs. Morris cuts roses. His mother scolds her for being childless. Cassia counters that Dawson never consummated their marriage.

  1. 00:00: Dawson Destroys the Divorce Papers

    Cassia brings divorce papers into Dawson's study to end their union. Dawson assumes she wants to extort cash for her father's gambling debts. He tears the sheets into pieces and commands her to leave the room immediately.

  2. 01:00: Zack and Elsie Mock Cassia

    Cassia steps into the mansion hallway and finds Zack kissing Elsie. The couple stops to insult her appearance and tease her about her weight. Cassia does not engage in an argument with them and walks away down the hall.

  3. 01:36: A Secret Told to Mrs. Morris

    In the living room, Mrs. Morris prunes roses and berates Cassia for looking messy. She criticizes Cassia for failing to conceive during five years of marriage. Cassia stands up and tells her that Dawson has never slept with her.
