Episode: 5
Ethan sits in his car with Emma, rejects her resignation, and adds her contact. He checks her social profile and asks why her husband is missing from photos. Emma replies that private happiness needs no audience and walks out. At the office, Ethan's fiancée, Vanessa, assigns Emma to design their wedding jewelry. Vanessa then corners Emma before all her coworkers with demands for the project.
In the car at night, Ethan denies Emma's resignation request and adds her contact information. He browses her social media and questions why her husband is not pictured anywhere. Emma states that private happiness does not need public display and steps outside.
Emma walks into Ethan's office while Vanessa leans over him discussing wedding plans. Vanessa scolds Emma for failing to knock. She announces Emma will design the couple's wedding jewelry. When Emma leaves, Ethan coldly orders Vanessa to get out.
Vanessa brings snacks for the entire department in the open office. She calls Emma out directly in front of her colleagues, telling her to put extra effort into the promised wedding jewelry piece. Emma answers calmly and accepts the task.
“Aren't you married? Why no photos of your husband online?”
“Happiness can stay private. No need to show it off.”
“Since you're in charge, make it special, okay?”
“I'm busy, step out.”
The episode ends in the company open office with Vanessa putting Emma on the spot before her colleagues. She demands that Emma craft a unique wedding jewelry piece that Ethan promised her, and Emma accepts the job professionally. How will Emma design wedding rings for her ex-lover and his demanding fiancée without cracking under the pressure?
