EP 3: Trapped in the Office
Ethan reviews Emma's ring sketches in his office and attacks her character. He accuses her of selling five years of love for two million dollars and demands to know how much her husband pays her. Emma sheds tears, insists she did not know he owned the company, and resigns. While she packs her things, a colleague delivers bad news. Ethan rejected her resignation and will blacklist her across the industry if she walks away. That night, Ethan drinks alone in a bar. He remembers riding an electric scooter with Emma and hates that he cannot forget her.
EP 4: A Rainy Night Confession
Emma stands alone in the rain outside Building D when Ethan pulls up and forces her into his car. During the drive, Ethan demands to know why she walked out five years ago. A memory shows Ethan's mother cornering a kneeling Emma outside the operating room. Emma hides the sacrifice and lies, telling him she left for the money. Emma takes a seat and asks why he ruined her dinner.
EP 7: Ambushed in the Dark
Ethan orders a Valentine's couple menu despite Emma reminding him that she is married. Across town, a woman in black watches surveillance footage of their dinner. She calls her henchmen and orders them to eliminate Emma that very night. After dinner, Ethan drives Emma home through the rain. He grabs her hand and asks how he is worse than her husband. Emma pulls free and exits the vehicle. Emma walks down a dark street alone at night. A white van cuts her off. The woman steps out with bodyguards, and a henchman smothers Emma with a drugged cloth.
EP 8: Cruelty on the Rooftop
Ethan follows the abduction vehicle through the city. On the rooftop of an unfinished building, the woman slaps Emma and confronts her with the dinner footage. Emma maintains that she is married and feels nothing for Ethan. Down on the street, Ethan spots Emma's dropped purse and races inside. On the roof, guards pin Emma's right hand to the ground. The woman grinds her sharp stiletto heel directly into Emma's hand to destroy her design career. Ethan dashes up the stairs as the woman raises a razor blade toward Emma's face. Ethan shouts for her to stop.
