Edmund cleans up and tries to kiss her, but Aveline rejects him for her idol, Sir Edmund. Outside, Edmund orders Oswin Vale to deliver a gift to the Carters.

  1. 00:00: Edmund Defends His New Wife

    A drunk henchman scoffs at Edmund in the marketplace street. Edmund steps up, asks who gave him permission to marry off his wife, and strikes him down. The man backs away and warns that Sir Roland Boyd will arrive at tomorrow's birthday banquet.

  2. 00:35: Aveline Proposes a Paid Marriage

    Aveline asks Edmund to pose as her husband to stop Roland from taking her away. She offers him lodging and a single silver coin for his help. Edmund accepts the bargain. Aveline tells him she will buy him a decent set of clothes.

  3. 01:18: Edmund Cleans Up and Flirts

    Inside the tailor shop, Edmund shaves, washes, and puts on a sharp blue coat. Aveline stares at his transformed appearance. Edmund steps close and leans in to kiss her. Aveline pushes him away and states that her heart belongs only to Sir Edmund.

  4. 02:19: Secret Orders for the Feast

    Edmund smiles at her confession, promises proper behavior, and takes Aveline's hand. He then walks outside to the alley doorway. Royal Knight Oswin Vale salutes him as Captain. Edmund commands Oswin to handle the drunk henchman and send a gift to the Carters.
