    Late at night in the bedroom, Nina spots Adrian's online comments defending Chloe. She blocks his updates immediately. Nina texts Mason to ask for the divorce paperwork. She thinks about past anniversaries she spent two weeks organizing, but now prepares nothing.

    The following morning, Nina places her final garments inside her suitcase. She receives two divorce agreements from Mason and prints them out. Before leaving, she lays both physical copies flat on top of the living room coffee table.

    Adrian arrives home at midday holding a strawberry mousse cake to please Nina. He explains that Chloe faced workplace stress last night. He offers to stay inside with Nina all day, but an incoming message vibrates inside his pocket.
