Lucia asks Richard Sterling to return her passport. Richard pulls out a video of her sister Ana walking alone and threatens her family. Lucia pleads with him to spare Ana. Richard hands Lucia a phone and orders her to call Maria Fernandez to praise him. Maria talks about the father's surgery while Lucia holds back tears. Afterward, Richard forces Lucia onto the bed, removes his belt, and abuses her before walking away.
Lucia begs Richard Sterling for her passport. Instead, Richard displays a video of Ana Fernandez walking alone. He warns that her family's safety and her father's surgery depend on her obedience. Lucia breaks down and begs him to spare Ana.
Richard hands Lucia a company phone and forces her to call Maria Fernandez. Maria speaks happily about the upcoming liver surgery. Lucia fights back tears as she praises Richard to her mother, following every instruction Richard gives her.
Richard ends the call, pushes Lucia onto the bed, and orders her to strip. He threatens her family again and removes his belt. Richard abuses Lucia and exits the bedroom, leaving her curled on the bed in tears.
“Your visa is tied to VSA. I paid for your father's surgery. I found the liver donor. I pulled strings to get him on the surgical schedule.”
“No! Mr. Sterling! I'll do anything you want. Just don't hurt Ana!”
“Strip. Think about your family.”
Richard buttons his jacket and walks out of the bedroom. Lucia lies curled up on the bed, sobbing alone in the dark after the assault. With her passport gone, her sister watched, and Richard controlling her father's medical care, how can Lucia survive his demands or find any way to fight back?
