Episode: 8
Richard orders Lucia to remain in the mansion until he arranges her yacht trip. Lucia spots guards at the gate, heads upstairs, and escapes out a window. She finds Sophie at the supermarket. In the back alley, Lucia explains Richard's plan to send her to Harvey's yacht. She refuses to flee alone and vows to protect future girls. Sophie opens a hidden locker and gives Lucia a folder containing evidence against Richard.
Richard Sterling speaks to Lucia in the living room. He calls her sweetheart and tells her to stay in the house. He promises to set up her yacht trip this afternoon, then he walks out the door.
Lucia looks outside and notices security guards posted at the main gate. She hurries upstairs into her bedroom. Lucia climbs out through the second-story window to get away from the mansion grounds.
Lucia slips inside the grocery store where Sophie works. She walks down an aisle and whispers Sophie's name. Sophie reacts in surprise, grabs Lucia, and quickly guides her toward the back of the store.
In the alleyway behind the store, Lucia tells Sophie about Richard's plan to send her to Harvey's yacht. Sophie warns her about the horrors on that boat. Lucia replies that she must stop Richard to protect other girls.
Sophie unlocks a hidden metal locker in the alley. She reaches into a backpack and pulls out a binder. She hands Lucia the binder, which holds all the evidence she secretly gathered against Richard.
“Stay put, sweetheart. When I get back this afternoon, I'll arrange your yacht trip.”
“That isn't a yacht. It's just the first level of hell you're about to see!”
“But there'll just be another au pair, and another after her, right? I have to end this!”
“All the evidence I've collected!”
Sophie gives Lucia the binder packed with collected files on Richard. Lucia takes the evidence into her hands with a firm resolve to stop his abuse for good. Will Lucia be able to use this evidence to expose Richard Sterling, or will his security catch her before she can strike back?
