Lily grabs a glass, flips the remaining drinks across her own gown, and screams. Richard runs over and strikes Emily across the face. He yells about the price of the spoiled garment. Emily confronts her biological parents directly, then walks away down the driveway as Catherine shouts after her.

Episode 8 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Serving Drinks on the Patio

    Emily works in a servant's uniform, carrying drinks for patio guests. Lily stands with two female friends and talks down to her. She laughs openly at Emily's clothes and makes cruel remarks about her background in front of the group.

  2. 00:27: Lily Spills the Champagne

    Lily picks up a single glass from Emily's tray. Then she deliberately tips over the rest of the glasses. Champagne pours straight down her own dress. Lily screams loudly and pretends that Emily intentionally attacked her.

  3. 00:42: Richard Strikes His Daughter

    Richard hears the commotion and sprints toward them. He strikes Emily across the face with a hard slap. Richard berates Emily loudly, shouting that Lily's five-thousand-dollar gown has far more value than anything Emily has ever possessed.

  4. 00:54: Walking Away into the Night

    Emily speaks coldly to Richard and Catherine near the driveway. She points out that they hit their own flesh and blood over ruined fabric. Catherine threatens her never to return, and Emily turns around to leave in the dark.

Emily turns her back on the Foster mansion and walks down the driveway alone into the dark. Catherine shouts behind her that she can never step foot in the house again. Will Emily find a safe place to go after being cast out by her family, or will Lily's cruelty ruin her completely?
