Episode: 1
Waldric battles his adopted son Draven in the sky and overpowers him with Solaris. On the cliff below, Draven reveals he spent three years poisoning Waldric's daily tea. Draven drains Waldric's power, banishes Solaris, and drops Waldric off the ledge. The stolen power turns on Draven, dragging him into a dark vortex. Waldric's soul shoots across the sky and wakes up in Kane Westland's body, while riders secure the dead emperor.
Waldric rides his white dragon Solaris through the sky to confront Draven. Draven flies on a dark dragon and complains about bloodline status. Draven attacks first, but Waldric commands Solaris to unleash a light attack that easily knocks Draven down.
Waldric lands on the stone platform and offers to take Draven home. Draven slaps Waldric's hand away and admits he poisoned Waldric's tea for years. Draven steals Waldric's essence, sends Solaris into a rift, and pushes Waldric over the ledge.
Draven stands on the stone platform as the stolen power begins to tear through his body. Golden energy ruptures his skin while he screams. Draven calls out Waldric's name in terror as a dark vortex opens and swallows him whole.
Waldric falls through the air toward the bottom of the abyss. As his body drops, a bright beam of golden energy bursts from his forehead. The light shoots out into the sky and travels across the distant continent.
A frail young man named Kane Westland wakes up suddenly inside a rustic stone bedroom. He still remembers Draven's betrayal on the cliff. Kane stands up, stares into the mirror, and asks himself if he has been reborn.
Armored riders on dragons land near a giant rib cage on the ground below. The leader walks up to Waldric's lifeless body and checks for a pulse. Finding none, he tells the riders to take the corpse to the Council.
“That tea you drink every day? I've been dosing it for three years.”
“No, no, no! WALDRIC!!”
“Where am I? Wasn't I just... Did I just get reborn?”
“He's gone. Take his body back to the Council.”
Armored dragon riders discover Waldric's lifeless body in a clearing framed by giant ribs and prepare to bring him before the Council. Miles away, Waldric's consciousness stares back from Kane Westland's mirror. How will the fallen emperor navigate the world in this weak new body, and what will the Council do when they inspect his corpse?
