Noble youths taunt Kane for lacking dragon talent before walking away. Left alone, Kane uses his glowing dragon mark to unlock the barrier around the sacred scepter. A massive golden light blasts skyward as he takes the weapon. Outside, a blonde noble tames a black dragon for the elders. When the golden beam appears, the clan rushes to the hall, finds the relic gone, and locks down the grounds.
Noble young men and women gather around Kane in the main hall. They mock him for being a half-blood with no dragon taming abilities. After laughing at his lack of talent, the entire group turns around and leaves the hall.
Kane sneers at the departed nobles and summons a dragon seal on his fingertips. He touches the glowing protective shield, instantly undoing the ancestral formation. A golden light shoots skyward as Kane takes the Dragon Emperor's Staff and leaves.
Out on the cliffside altar, a blonde dragon rider casts a spell circle to tame a black dragon. He flies across the sky and lands before the elders, promising to preserve the purity of their clan bloodline.
A bright golden pillar suddenly erupts from the main hall into the sky. A white-haired elder identifies the beam as divine dragon power beyond mortal reach. Alarmed by the sight, the clan leader leads everyone back toward the building.
The leaders enter the hall and discover the protective barrier in pieces. The Dragon Emperor's Staff is completely missing from the pedestal. Shocked by the theft, the clan leader orders guards to seal the estate and search every person present.
“Hmph, a bunch of short-sighted fools! They have no idea about the blood bond between me and this staff.”
“This power comes from the Dragon Emperor's very essence. No ordinary clansman could unleash it.”
“Lock down the estate! No one leaves! Search every guest and every member of the family. Find out what caused that anomaly and recover the Dragon Emperor's Staff!”
The clan leader seals every exit of the estate, directing guards to search all nobles, guests, and family members for the missing staff. Kane has already slipped away into the corridors with the stolen relic. Can Kane escape the estate lockdown before the clan leaders track down the Dragon Emperor's power to him?
