Episode: 9
Tremors shake the stadium from the dragon nest underground. The ancient white dragon, Zepharion, bursts through the stadium floor near Kane and Layla. Derek steps up and claims he summoned the beast. He orders the creature to kill Kane. Instead, Zepharion ignores Derek's commands and approaches Kane directly. The dragon locks eyes with Kane and bows before him. Derek watches with hatred and makes a vicious threat against Kane.
Spectators gather on a high balcony overlooking the stadium. Suddenly, a violent tremor shakes the structure beneath them. A elderly man notes that the disturbance comes directly from the sealed ancestral dragon nest deep underground.
The stadium floor cracks wide open, and the massive white dragon Zepharion erupts into view. Kane stands beside his sister Layla as the ancient creature rises above the arena. Both watch as dust settles around the giant beast.
Derek runs forward across the floor and claims he summoned the white dragon himself. He shouts orders at Zepharion to strike Kane down immediately. Derek calls Kane a half-breed and demands that the beast bury him in the ground.
Zepharion refuses to listen to Derek's loud commands. Instead, the white dragon moves straight toward Kane on the stadium floor. Kane stands firm as the creature approaches, and the two lock eyes in front of the entire crowd.
Derek watches the beast refuse his commands. Standing on the floor near Kane, Derek speaks directly to him with open malice. Derek tells Kane he wants to see him hurt, making a direct threat to mark his skin with bruises.
“The source is the ancestral dragon nest underground, where the ancient dragon-kin has been sealed.”
“Zepharion, I'm your true master, not that other fool! Now move! Put that filthy half-breed in the ground!”
“I love to see bruises on your white skin.”
Zepharion lowers its massive head and bows down directly in front of Kane on the stadium floor. Derek stares at the scene with intense hatred and malice, vowing to destroy Kane. Will Derek find a way to attack Kane now that the ancient white dragon has accepted Kane as its master?
