Kane examines his new hands in his bedroom. Layla rushes in, embraces him, and scolds him for visiting the mystic forest without a dragon. Outside in the square, a herald announces that Emperor Waldric died at Cloudpeak. Layla cries, while Kane realizes Draven's betrayal succeeded. At their grandfather's birthday dinner, arrogant guests ridicule the Westlands. Kane spots the Emperor's sealed scepter and places his bare hand against the glowing magical barrier.

  1. 00:00: Scolding In Kane's Chamber

    Kane examines his new hands inside his bedroom. Layla runs into the room and embraces him tightly. She scolds Kane for sneaking into the dangerous mystic forest without a dragon bond, then reminds him about their grandfather's upcoming birthday dinner.

  2. 00:28: Announcement Of The Emperor's Fall

    Dragon Knights fly over the public square. A herald uses a magical projection to announce that Emperor Waldric died at Cloudpeak. Layla breaks down in tears at the news. Beside her, Kane realizes Draven's scheme succeeded.

  3. 01:23: Mockery At The Birthday Banquet

    Kane and Layla step inside the grand banquet hall for the celebration. Several nobles corner them, sneering at their mother's commoner background and laughing at their family's lost royal support. Layla then leaves Kane alone to look for their grandfather.

  4. 01:54: Touching The Emperor's Relic

    Kane walks up to a glowing spherical barrier holding the Dragon Emperor's scepter. He recognizes his former weapon immediately. Surrounding nobles ridicule his claims, but Kane tells them he can shatter the seal with his bare hands and touches it.

Will the ancient magical shield shatter under his touch, or will the barrier blast Kane backward, leaving him completely humiliated in front of the entire banquet hall?
