Episode: 7
The family elder calls the opening trial a draw and starts the dragon-riding battle. Derek plans to wreck Kane, ignoring an armored relative who asks him to stay calm. Then, Derek brings out his high-tier fire dragon, Pylos. Kane uses fast footwork to evade the flames without summoning a beast. He stops another fire blast with two fingers. Derek loses his temper and orders Pylos to kill Kane with Sky-Scorching Flame.
The family elder announces a draw for the first round and opens the dragon-riding match. An armored youth tells Derek not to treat the duel as a fight to the death. Derek brushes him off and vows to destroy Kane.
Derek opens a magic seal and calls forward his high-tier fire dragon, Pylos. Layla yells a warning across the arena. Derek commands the beast to strike. Kane does not summon a dragon and dodges the fiery blasts using acrobatic movements.
Pylos breathes another wave of dragon fire across the arena floor. Kane raises two fingers and deflects the flames away. Derek and the seated elders look on in disbelief at the pure dragon force coming from an unbound half-blood youth.
Derek refuses to listen to spectator shouts urging him to back down. Humiliated, he instructs Pylos to use Sky-Scorching Flame to kill Kane. Pylos builds up power and unleashes a massive wall of fire straight at Kane.
“Mind your own business. I'm going to crush this half-blood waste today.”
“Watch out, Kane! Derek's true pact dragon is a high-tier fire dragon!”
“How could a bondless waste like you deflect Pylos's attack so easily?!”
“Pylos, unleash your Sky-Scorching Flame! Kill him!”
Derek loses his temper and orders Pylos to incinerate his opponent with lethal dragon fire. Pylos unleashes its deadly Sky-Scorching Flame, sending an overwhelming torrent of heat directly at Kane's face. Kane stands his ground and stares forward at the incoming attack. Can Kane withstand this lethal fire blast, or will he reveal another power?
