Vampires invade the Human Citadel to find a newborn princess blessed with Saint Moon's Blood. On a balcony, Lilith uses blood magic on a crystal sphere and commands her followers to locate the infant. The King and Queen run through the corridors until a monster corners them. Klaus appears and kills the beast with red magic. He offers a Blood Deed to stop the slaughter if they give him the girl in eighteen years.
Vampires assault the human city in a violent frenzy. A narrator explains that a royal baby girl carries Saint Moon's Blood. The creatures tear through the streets because her special blood grants vampires absolute power over the realm.
Lilith stands outside near the courtyard and channels red blood magic into a crystal sphere. She sends her pack of vampires into the night to track down the newborn infant and bring the child directly to her.
The King and Queen sprint through the royal hallways with their newborn daughter in her arms. A feral vampire blocks their escape route. The creature corners the family against the wall as the King tries to push it back.
Klaus materializes and obliterates the attacking vampire with red magic. He presents the Blood Deed to the royal couple. Despite the Queen's tearful objections, the King signs the contract to save the city, promising his daughter in eighteen years.
“Good boys, find her for me!”
“Get back!”
“Press your seal upon this deed, and I shall put an end to all chaos at once.”
“No, no, no. No, no!”
After the King affixes his royal seal to the parchment, Klaus turns toward the dark night. His blue eyes glow as he promises to wait eighteen years for the child while the Queen sobs on the floor. How will Klaus collect his prize once those eighteen years have passed?
