Episode: 2
The King reveals to Mia that she possesses the blood of the holy moon. To save the human realm, she agrees to offer herself to the vampires. Mia travels alone into the dark fortress. In the throne hall, Klaus touches her cheek and sinks his fangs into her neck. A maid orders a bleeding Mia to dress herself in a guest room. Damon bursts inside, disarms Mia, and corners her against the wall.
Mia discovers that she carries the Saint Moon's Blood. The King explains that the entire kingdom faces total destruction unless she surrenders to the vampires. Mia sheds tears as she agrees to leave her family and go to the castle.
Mia walks down the dim stone hallway without anyone beside her. She approaches the heavy double doors of the stronghold. Gathering her courage, she pushes the massive doors open and steps into the shadows of the great hall alone.
Mia approaches the throne where Klaus sits. The white-haired Duke flashes glowing red eyes and shifts in front of her. He raises a hand to touch her face, tilts her head back, and sinks his fangs directly into her throat.
Mia sits alone in a guest room with blood covering her neck. A maid drops a clean gown beside her and demands she put it on herself. Mia presses her bleeding wound and fears she will soon lose all her blood.
Damon breaks into the bedroom uninvited. Mia raises a candlestick to defend herself, but he knocks it away. He announces his desire to taste her rare blood, grabs her wrists, and forces her back against the bedroom wall.
“Because you carry the blood of the holy moon. Every vampire wants you. If you don't go, everyone will die.”
“I will go.”
“Good evening, sweetheart. So you're the one cloud has been waiting eighteen years for? I'd like to have a taste of that top killer bloodline's too.”
“Get off me!”
Damon traps Mia against the wall and pins her hands so she cannot fight back. He leans close, determined to drink her Saint Moon's Blood for himself, while Mia desperately screams for him to back away. Will Klaus step in to stop Damon, or will Mia fall victim to another vampire inside the castle?
