Episode: 9
Klaus and Mia kiss on the bed in his bedroom. Mia asks Klaus to form a bond to keep her safe from other monsters. Klaus warns her that the bond lasts forever and gives him total control over her life and blood. Mia agrees to the deal if he protects her. Klaus scoffs at her demands, but they continue kissing. Down in a dungeon, the Vampire Queen scolds a chained vampire and disappears with him into mist.
Klaus and Mia kiss passionately on the bed. Mia asks Klaus to bond with her so other creatures cannot harm her. Klaus explains the harsh terms of an eternal bond. After she accepts, he questions her demands and keeps kissing her.
Down in a dark chamber, an injured dark-haired vampire sits chained to the floor. The hooded Vampire Queen approaches him wearing a crown. She calls the chained vampire worthless. Then, she vanishes into dark mist alongside him.
“Why won't you form the bond with me? You waited eighteen years for me, didn't you? Will those monsters stop hurting me once I bond with you?”
“Do you know what bonding with a vampire means? It means you'll stay by my side for the rest of your life. Whenever I need your blood, you must give it to me without holding back. Your life and death will be entirely in my hands. Of course. The bond lasts forever, unless I die. Would you still agree to this?”
“I'm willing. I trust you won't kill me so easily. You need my blood, and I want to make a deal with you. I agree to bond with you, on the condition that you protect me from all other monsters.”
“You're worthless!”
The episode ends in a dark dungeon chamber where the hooded Vampire Queen confronts her wounded, chained servant. She calls him worthless and vanishes with him into thick dark mist. Where is the Vampire Queen taking her defeated servant, and what does this mean for Klaus and Mia's new bond?
